Moyes & Co. has a twenty year history developing commercial software for use in petroleum project evaluation. EdgeCa$h, a global economic analysis package developed by the Firm's founder, was sold to Landmark Graphics, a Halliburton company, in 1994.
We are proficient with analytical solutions and Monte Carlo simulation and have an excellent data bank of government petroleum agreements and joint venture and project documentation for many of which we have specialized economic models. The choice of software is determined either by considering client preference, the quality and reasonable use of the data and our judgement of what is fit-for-purpose.
We maintain and currently run several proprietary models, all of which may be licensed for client's internal use.
